Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to be based in Madrid or Seville and join our Water team to support Mott MacDonald Bentley's work with the @one Alliance and Anglian Water. As part of Anglian Water's @one Alliance, we are on a mission to create a sustainable and resilient future for water.

With a large ramp-up of work ahead, we are seeking a capable Electrical Engineer to contribute to LV installations, design reviews, and instrumentation selection across key projects

Formación

• Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience in a project engineering environment.
• Strong Electrical Engineering background, ideally in the Water sector.

Responsabilidades

• Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems.
• Design and specify LV assemblies (MCC, LV Switchboards and Control Panels).
• Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (i.e. electrical schematics, cable calculations and termination diagrams).
• Specify and select required instrumentation based on the process design.

With a large ramp-up of work in front of us, we have a host of engineering projects which require our Delivery team to provide enthusiasm and innovation to deliver engineering excellence.

What will you be doing as our new Electrical Engineer?

As a talented and driven Electrical Engineer within our diverse and inclusive Engineering team, you'll provide Electrical Engineering technical input to projects in Anglian Water region.

Key responsibilities

• Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems
• Design and specify LV assemblies (MCC, LV Switchboards and Control Panels)
• Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (i.e. electrical schematics, cable calculations and termination diagrams)
• Specify and select required instrumentation based on the process design

A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours.

You'll have extensive experience in a project engineering environment and will hold a degree (or similar qualification) in a relevant Engineering discipline.

With a strong Electrical Engineering background ideally in the Water sector and a keenness to work in a multi disciplined engineering team to work together to solve complex problems.

There will also be a requirement to be able to attend client and site meetings in Peterborough, UK.

Educated to degree level in a Electrical Engineering related subject.

Requirements

• Experience of electrical engineering, ideally in the Water or Wastewater sector
• Member of a professional body
• Advanced Level of English / ability to work in English
• Willing to travel to UK on regular basis
