Job summary

AECOM’s Building Services Engineering team is seeking a Mid-Level / Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of international projects across multiple sectors. You will contribute to the design of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers, participating in client meetings, and delivering robust electrical designs for diverse infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering design for buildings and infrastructure.
• Proven experience in MV/LV electrical installations.
• Experience in sectors such as commercial, healthcare, aviation, industrial, transportation, or data center projects.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate MV/LV electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, grounding, and lightning protection.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Deliver electrical designs for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and specialist disciplines.
• Support technical decision-making throughout project development and delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to quality assurance processes.
• Participate in client meetings, technical proposals, and project presentations.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support project delivery from concept through construction.
