Haskoning is seeking an Electrical BIM Engineer (MCF/Data Centres) to design and deliver mission critical facilities. You will develop electrical designs and BIM models using Revit, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support clash detection with Revizto while ensuring compliance with standards.

Strong BIM/digital engineering skills and experience on complex building projects are essential. Fluency in English (C1) is required for international collaboration; Spanish is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in consulting engineering, data centre or industrial projects advantageous.
• Strong BIM and digital engineering skills with Revit, Dynamo, Python or Rhino.Inside.Revit.
• Experience with engineering tools and environments like EDMS/CDEs and ETAP, DIALux or DEHN.
• Excellent English (C1); Spanish preferred; Dutch/German a plus.

What you do as a Electrical BIM Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres)

As an Electrical BIM Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres), you will contribute to the design and delivery of Mission Critical Facilities projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams under the guidance of the Lead Engineer. Combining electrical engineering expertise with advanced BIM, automation and digital design skills, you will develop coordinated, buildable solutions that meet project objectives, client requirements and industry standards while minimizing rework.

Your responsibilities include:

• Develop electrical designs and data-rich BIM models, including block and single-line diagrams, while coordinating electrical and plumbing services and ensuring space allocation with other disciplines.
• Coordinate and optimize multidisciplinary BIM models, integrating constructability, maintenance and accessibility requirements, and supporting clash detection and model coordination using tools such as Revit and Revizto.
• Collaborate with international, multidisciplinary teams, Project Engineers and BIM Coordinators to deliver coordinated designs, participate in technical discussions and travel internationally when required.
• Drive digital innovation and continuous improvement by improving BIM workflows, proposing innovative solutions and sharing knowledge across the team.
• Support technical quality and engineering excellence by reviewing junior engineers' and BIM Modelers' work and ensuring designs comply with Haskoning and client standards.

Our global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team provides a multidisciplinary package of consultancy services for our datacenter clients. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice to our clients, including colocation datacentres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Our team consists of colleagues with all kinds of different expertise. For example, mechanical engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, controls engineering, and security technology. Together we use our knowledge and expertise to develop integrated designs for Data Centres.

What you bring

You are an entrepreneurial, proactive and results-oriented professional with a positive, flexible mindset and a passion for innovation. You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams, communicate confidently with colleagues and clients, and take ownership of delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Besides that, you have:

• A bachelor's degree (Mid-level) or master's degree (Senior-level) in Electrical Engineering, providing the technical foundation to design and deliver complex building services projects.

• At least 4 years of experience in consulting engineering, with strong knowledge of electrical building services and experience on complex building projects; industrial or data centre experience is an advantage.

• Strong BIM and digital engineering skills, including proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows (certifications are a plus), plus experience with Dynamo, Python or Rhino.Inside.Revit to improve design efficiency and automation.

• Experience with engineering and collaboration tools, including Common Data Environments (e.g. Autodesk Forma) and electrical design software such as ETAP, DIALux or DEHN, to support coordinated, high-quality project delivery.

• Excellent communication skills and strong English proficiency (C1 minimum) to collaborate effectively in international project teams and with clients; Spanish is preferred, while Dutch and/ or German are an advantage.
