Descripción del empleo

We’re looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our New Payload Team and help build the next generation of satellite hardware. In this role, you’ll design, test, and maintain the electronic systems that power and control our payloads and avionics subsystems. You’ll contribute across the entire product lifecycle—from early concepts and prototypes through integration, testing, and on-orbit performance.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, collaborating with experts across multiple disciplines, and having real ownership over hardware that flies in space.

What You’ll Do
  • Design board-level electronic systems for satellite units and RF boards, with a strong focus on power and control circuits using microcontrollers.
  • Perform rigorous testing and validation of the electronics you design, ensuring functionality, reliability, and compliance with mission requirements.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, test plans, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during design, prototyping, manufacturing, and even in-orbit operations when needed.
  • Work closely with RF engineers, mechanical engineers, software developers, and other specialists to ensure seamless integration.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices, test coverage, and in-orbit performance monitoring.
Required
  • BSc/MSc in Electronic Engineering or related field with solid and proven experience in electronics engineering in analog and digital electronics.
  • Experience designing low-noise power supplies, timing circuits, etc.
  • Experience or strong familiarity with the aerospace or defense industry (or other high-reliability environments).
  • Understanding of high-speed signals and associated design constraints.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC principles and best practices for noise mitigation.
  • Fundamental understanding of RF concepts and interactions between digital, analog, and RF circuitry.
Nice to Have
  • Hands‑on experience with space hardware or environmental testing (vibration, thermal, radiation).
  • Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or similar.
  • Experience working with microcontroller firmware or embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of root‑cause analysis techniques for complex hardware issues.
Who You Are

You’re hands‑on, curious, and energized by building hardware that pushes boundaries. You thrive in fast‑moving environments, enjoy working at the intersection of multiple engineering domains, and take pride in high‑quality designs that work the first time—and every time. You communicate clearly, collaborate naturally, and love turning ambitious ideas into reliable, space‑ready hardware.
