What will you be responsible for?
- Lead sales activities to ensure the success of strategic sales and growth priorities in Spain and Portugal.
- Increase the sales volume and presence of Cocoa in the assigned territory by identifying more opportunities.
- Understand the business strategy for the Cocoa business and develop a sales strategy for the Cocoa business, short and long term.
- Responsible for sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Achieve short and long sales goals and successful management of accounts by engaging in the interactive process with customers and stakeholders.
- Accountable for sales performance, strategies, and tactics in coordination by driving customer engagement and business development.
- Establish contacts and relationships with customers in Spain and Portungal markets to ensure that the company standard of product quality and services are continuously met in relationships with all existing and potential customers.
- Utilize customer and market insight data to develop customer facing presentations including category reviews.
- Constantly improve consumer purchase experience through understanding product, flavor, quality and market volatile, improving customer service.
- Develop a value-added Cocoa business model for including industrial, Foodservices, wholesaler and customers in Spain and Portugal.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent should possess he following :
- Bachelor degree or Master in Business / Sales / Marketing / Operations / Agribusiness.
- Native Spanish speaker
- 2 - 4 years’ experience in sales, new business development and key account management in food commodity business
- Food commodity experience is a must (cocoa, chocolate, confectionary are preferred but not a must)
- Experience in the food ingredients / B2B sales network in the Food Industry will essential for the incumbent to be successful in this role.
- The incumbent should have proven experience as a “self starter” with a strong element of dynamism and the ability to move fast and get things done.
- Have a knack of commercial orientation with the ability to run the business independently.
- Strategic thinking is critical to understand the global strategy and ensure we have a growth-oriented mindset.
- Analytical skills. Ability to map the market trends and grow the business based on previous business connections and predict market directions.
- Make sure we are able to identify key value drivers for success
- Have an ownership mindset and desire to run the show Independently.
- Have excellent customer engagement, communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with and influence a matrix of internal and external customers at varied levels.
