Job summary

Anyone AI Inc. is seeking Ecology & Evolution Experts to design tasks that test AI agents’ ability to investigate ecological and evolutionary questions.

You will create tasks, craft reference solutions, and assess agents working with scientific data and tools. This remote, project-based role offers flexible hours across Latin America and Europe, with compensation of US$30–80 per hour depending on expertise and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in ecology, evolutionary biology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional expertise.
• 3+ years of relevant research or applied experience.
• Experience analyzing ecological or evolutionary data.
• Fluent English, with strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design tasks involving biodiversity, population dynamics, conservation, evolutionary processes, or ecological interactions.
• Develop reference solutions with explicit assumptions, analytical methods, and evidence.
• Evaluate agents using ecological datasets, spatial tools, statistical software, or phylogenetic resources.
• Define evaluation criteria for scientific reasoning, reproducibility, and interpretation.
• Identify sampling bias, inappropriate models, unsupported causal claims, and other methodological errors.
