Job summary

SQLI is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize end-to-end data solutions within BI and Analytics environments. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform business needs into scalable data solutions.

The role involves implementing transformations in Snowflake, developing analytical data models, and exposing data for Power BI consumption. You will collaborate with an international team and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in BI and Data & Analytics environments.
• Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries and procedure development.
• Strong experience in analytical data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (transformations, procedures, tasks).
• Strong analytical mindset and E2E solution design capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, from requirements gathering to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design end-to-end data solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines in BI and analytics environments.
• Implement transformations, procedures, and tasks in Snowflake.
• Design and maintain efficient, scalable analytical data models.
• Optimize SQL queries and data processes to improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Prepare and expose data for consumption in Power BI and other analytical tools.
• Collaborate on the definition of metrics, KPIs, and semantic models.
• Work in an Agile / Scrum environment with technical and business teams.
• Present progress, solutions, and recommendations to international stakeholders in English.
• Document data architectures, processes, and developments, and propose continuous improvements.
