SalesLoft is hiring a Data Engineer to help build data infrastructure powering in‑app reporting, analytics and ML features. You will work with engineers, product managers and designers to deliver end‑to‑end data pipelines and bridge Data Science with Product Delivery.

You will participate in design reviews, train and deploy models, and ensure production‑grade data services while collaborating with product and customer success teams.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with high-volume distributed systems.
• Ability to work in teams of 4+ engineers.
• Proven ETL experience in a large data environment.
• Strong coding and design skills with exposure to micro‑service‑architecture (MSA).
• Knowledge of OO methodologies, UML, event-driven architectures, and design patterns.
• Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and write unit tests.
• Strong communication skills and ability to produce technical documentation.
• Understanding of XML, JSON and Web services.
• Experience with CRM and/or DMS systems is a plus.
• Experience with ML/AI or data sciences frameworks is a plus.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a key part of our rapidly growing organization, you will help us build the data infrastructure to power our in‑app reporting, analytics, and ML product features. You will work closely with a team of engineers, product managers and designers to help deliver real value to our customers.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for serving as a liaison between the Data Science and Product Delivery teams to architect and deliver end-to-end data pipelines. To that end, the Senior Data Engineer will be tasked with the following:

• Develop data flows, services, and applications in various system areas including machine learning, natural language processing, data analytics and third party data integrations
• Participate in design sessions about your services and applications
• Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to train and deploy models in a production environment
• Perform heads down development, test your code, review peer code, and ship it to production
• Maintain and debug your services and applications in our production environment
• Work closely with our Product Management and our Customer Success teams

THE SKILL SET:

• 4+ years professional hands‑on software development experience preferably with high-volume distributed systems experience
• Strong individual contributor with experience working with teams of 4+ engineers
• Proven ETL experience in a large data environment
• Strong coding and design skills with some exposure to micro‑service‑architecture (MSA)
• Knowledge of object‑oriented methodologies, UML design techniques, event driven architectures, and other design patterns
• Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Ability to troubleshoot, performance tune, solve problems and write good unit tests
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written) with experience producing technical and design documentation
• Understanding of XML, JSON and/or Web‑services
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience with CRM and/or DMS systems is a plus.
• Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence or data sciences frameworks is a plus

Base Pay Range

$347,000—$594,000 MXN
