Macadam, based in Barcelona, is seeking a Frontend Engineer to drive development and maintenance of our high-performance mobile app using React Native. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, product teams, and backend engineers to ship innovative features that delight users worldwide.

This role is based in Barcelona with relocation optional; we value candidates living in the city or willing to relocate.

Formación

• Proven experience in front-end development with a focus on React Native.

THE ROLE

As our Frontend Engineer, you'll drive the development and maintenance of our high-performance mobile app, collaborating with UX/UI designers, product teams, and backend engineers to ship innovative features that delight users worldwide. Your expertise will ensure seamless, scalable interfaces powered by React Native.

This role is based in Barcelona. We're looking for candidates who are already living in the city or ready to relocate.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop new features and maintain existing ones for our React Native application, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work closely with the UX/UI design team to implement clean, user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Apply robust security measures and data protection.
• Implement complex animations using Reanimated 3.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and bring innovative ideas to the table.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Solid experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React Native.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications.
• Deep understanding of React Native and its core principles.
• Strong knowledge of UX/UI design principles and the ability to work closely with design teams.
