EvolveTalent seeks a Cloud Software Engineer to join our client’s European cloud platform. You will design, build, and scale new products and automation solutions, enhancing core cloud capabilities and user experience.

You will drive end-to-end automation, collaborate with open-source communities, and apply DevSecOps practices to ensure secure, resilient services. Strong coding, testing, and cross-functional teamwork are required for success.

Formación

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical/professional training.
• 3–5 years of professional IT experience in modern public cloud architectures.
• Strong background in robust software development and infrastructure automation.
• Experience operating within Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Must live/work within the European Union to satisfy data sovereignty rules.
• Fluency in English; local language knowledge is a plus.

The Role & Your Impact

As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of modern software development and infrastructure automation. You will design, build, and scale new products and automation solutions that enhance our core cloud platform and elevate the user experience.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related scientific field, or equivalent practical/professional training.
• Cloud Expertise: 3–5 years of professional IT experience heavily focused on modern public cloud architectures.
• Engineering Depth: A strong background in robust software development practices alongside proven experience in infrastructure automation.
• Agile Mindset: Comfortable operating within agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and maintaining a high level of customer focus.
• Location & Compliance: Must be living and working within the European Union to comply with strict regional data sovereignty and privacy regulations.
• Communication: Fluency in both written and spoken English, and knowledge of the language of the country of residence will be considered as an advantage.

Technical Skill Requirements

• Core Development: Proficiency in backend programming languages—specifically Python, Go, Groovy, Java, or C/C++.
• API & Networking: Strong experience in API development and documentation (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI), alongside solid knowledge of core network protocols (BGP, DNS, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, PKI/TLS).
• Containers & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and container management, plus Kubernetes proficiency (working with kubectl, Helm, and native K8s objects).
• DevOps Culture: A strong DevSecOps mindset with a solid grasp of CI/CD concepts, version control pipelines, and automated Linux administration/troubleshooting.
• Testing & Quality: Experience utilizing automation testing frameworks such as Robot Framework or Selenium.
• Security First: A foundational understanding of application, cloud, network, and data security standards.
• Soft Skills: Sharp analytical capabilities, independent problem-solving skills, and a self-driven working style.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Hands-on experience with OpenStack architecture and its core modules.
• An active track record of programming or contributing to open-source software projects.
