Quince is seeking a Director Sourcing for Bags & Accessories to lead Europe vendor relationships and develop the sourcing strategy. This role reports to the VP of Global Sourcing and will shape overseas supply chain foundations.

The ideal candidate has extensive European factory connections, a product‑oriented approach, and a strong background in lean/JIT manufacturing, with excellent communication skills.

• 15+ years of Strategic Sourcing or Procurement experience with major US retailers.
• Extensive network of partner factories across Europe.
• Product-focused with ability to design, cost engineer and bring products to market.
• GM mindset with supply chain and lean/JIT manufacturing background.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical and execution-focused.
• Lifelong learner with curiosity and adaptability to new perspectives.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own sourcing strategy and vendor relationships for Europe Bags & Accessories, including Handbags, Belts, Luggage, Eyewear, Socks, Soft Accessories and Tech Acc.
• Lead vendor onboarding, quality reviews, and negotiations to improve margins.
• Drive operational rigor across the regional supply base: lead times, on-time delivery, and production SLAs.
• Identify and onboard new vendor partners with scalable capacity and quality.
• Visit vendor partners regularly to build relationships, troubleshoot issues and conduct reviews.
• Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning and Operations to ensure launches and replenishment run smoothly.
• Ensure ethical sourcing and compliance standards across all partners.

Director Sourcing, Bags & Accessories

We are seeking a Director Sourcing, Bags & Accessories to lead vendor relationships and sourcing strategy across our Europe supply base. This critical leadership role will shape the foundation of our overseas bags and accessories supply chain and report to the future VP of Global Sourcing, Bags and Accessories.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing strategy and vendor relationships (both first‑party vendors and third‑party vendors) for Europe based Bags and Accessories categories, including: Handbags, Belts, Luggage, Eyewear, Socks, Soft Accessories and Tech Acc.
• Lead vendor onboarding, quality reviews, and commercial negotiations to improve PCOGS and margins
• Drive operational rigor across the regional supply base: improve lead times, on‑time delivery, and production SLAs
• Identify and onboard new vendor partners with scalable capacity, consistent quality, and competitive cost structure
• Visit vendor partners regularly to build long‑term relationships, troubleshoot issues, and conduct quality reviews
• Partner cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Planning, and Operations to ensure product launches and replenishment run smoothly
• Ensure ethical sourcing and compliance standards are upheld across all partners

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Strategic Sourcing or Procurement, or Supplier Management experience operating with major US‑based retailers.
• Deep set of partner factory connections within category across the Europe region
• Product obsessed with experience in leveraging factories/vendor expertise to design, cost engineer, and bring products to market, with a thorough knowledge of key material localized in the region.
• GM mindset with a supply chain background and manufacturing (lean/JIT) experience
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem‑solving, improving processes and brand enhancement.
• Continuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
