Scope Ratings in Madrid seeks a Director of Structured Finance to lead autono mous credit rating committees for structured finance assignments and occasional monitoring. You will analyse complex transactions, develop methodologies, and mentor junior analysts while engaging with clients, investors and market participants.
You will head discussions on ratings and present insights at a professional level, contributing to high‑quality research and long‑term career development within Scope.
The Director takes part to and leads in complete autonomy credit rating committees for the assignment and, occasionally, monitoring of structured finance ratings. In this context, the jobholder analyses complex structured finance transactions, develops and maintains credit rating methodologies and writes insightful credit research related to the structured finance sector. The Director also acts as a mentor and provides support to less experienced analysts. Moreover, the Director leads operational review visits and takes part to investor, issuer and arranger’s meetings and calls. This position offers a long‑term career path for high‑performing analysts with opportunities to develop analytical skills.
The compensation range disclosed may encompass multiple title levels (Scope internal levels of seniority). Your actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to your individual experience, education, and seniority, and the final salary will be determined during the interview and evaluation process.
