Job summary

Socialpoint, Barcelona, is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead multiple software teams across mobile game development, AI initiatives, R&D, and FinOps. You will shape technical strategy, drive excellence in architecture, tooling, and processes, and mentor engineers to deliver high-impact games.

You will own team roadmaps, collaborate with Zynga and Take-Two partners, and help scale Central Technology to support world-class mobile titles.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience directly managing software engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Agile development methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple software engineering teams across mobile game development, AI initiatives, R&D, and FinOps.
• Guide teams in using AI to accelerate development workflows and business outcomes.
• Drive technical excellence by validating architecture, code quality, and processes.
• Identify gaps, improve engineering processes, and create growth opportunities.
• Represent teams with stakeholders across disciplines inside and outside the organization.
• Own team roadmaps, aligning with Central Technology objectives.
• Partner with Zynga tech leaders to advance best practices and culture.
