Wellington Shire Council is seeking a Temporary Director of Early Childhood Education in Melbourne's Elwood area to lead a service during a maternity leave. The role is full-time with flexible hours, starting ASAP, and focuses on strong leadership and fostering an inclusive, safe learning environment for children.

The successful candidate will coach educators, partner with families and community, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive positive culture while maintaining high standards of care.

Formación

• ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Police Check
• Developed interpersonal skills to engage and work with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Are you a skilled and experienced Early Childhood Education professional with a passion for leading and developing a team?

Our client is based in the Southeast/Inner suburb of Elwood. This service provides a thriving environment where children can explore, learn & play through their unique learning programs.

We are seeking an experienced Director who brings a high standard towards Early Childhood, a progressive perspective & someone who can invigorate & inspire a team of Early Childhood professionals.

This is a temporary role working Full Time (hours days flexible), starting ASAP.

Your responsibilities:

• Working in partnership with children, families & the wider community
• Lead and support the professional development of the Educators and Teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
