A leading digital transformation company in Madrid is seeking an AVEVA PI Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team. You will monitor the OSIsoft PI system, ensuring continuous production and supporting the validation and integrity of data. Candidates should possess a degree in IT or Engineering, experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and skills in data engineering concepts with proficiency in Python and SQL. Formación

The AVEVA PI Engineer position offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team that operates across multiple sites, providing support for the PI Historian Operational Service. The AVEVA PI Engineer will be an integral member of the support team, responsible for monitoring the system to ensure continuous production at the manufacturing site.

Support site vertical integration defined by the Project Manager or Lead Engineer.

Create / Update the configuration and validation documents related to the PI system.

Execute the validation as defined in the change control.

Ensure data integrity and consistency by implementing data quality control measures and monitoring data validation processes.

Collaborate within Automation Infra team to manage system upgrades, patches, and performance optimizations for the OSIsoft PI system.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to data engineering and manufacturing systems.

Enhance data management processes, system performance, and user experience.

To apply for this PI Software Engineer role, you will need an undergraduate degree in IT, Automation, Science or Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Experience working with the OSIsoft PI system, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.

Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including batch processing, equipment automation, and data acquisition systems.

Proficiency in data engineering concepts, data integration, and data management best practices.

Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.

Python, SQL and scripting is advantageous.

Experience with ticketing systems such as Service Now or similar.
