Build own and manage relationships with a large territory of longtail accounts as a full sales cycle seller. Drive sales / upsell / cross-sell in a comprehensive selling motion across all Visa products and solutions which includes virtual engagement and system touchpoints.

What we expect of you day to day
  • Drive sales growth within your client portfolio by understanding and integrating their strategic objectives and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand Visas customer base in Portugal and other European markets.
  • Manage existing customer accounts, identify new business opportunities, maintain account plans, create presentation materials that are applicable to all levels of the client organization.
  • Forecast sales and have knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process ensuring sales tools are utilized appropriately and maintained regularly.
  • Participate in client communications and develop and deliver client presentations using phone video conferencing digital whiteboards and webcasts.
  • Maintain industry trend knowledge and government regulations that may affect assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with digital sales team to develop new business strategies and tactics. Participate in ongoing digital sales trainings.
  • Meet and exceed weekly monthly and quarterly targets and KPIs.
  • Effectively communicate Visas value proposition across multiple products and solutions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
  • 1-2 years of sales or relevant experience
  • Experience in payments industry is highly valuable
  • Fluent in English. Strong proficiency (at least C1) in Portuguese
  • Basic understanding of digital sales tools such as Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Work independently and engage multiple levels of management in key decisions where required for the business
  • Strong ability to communicate basic concepts and exchange ideas and account information clearly and concisely.
  • Manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships
