Your new role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of patient activation activities within the commercial cardiometabolic area, with a strong focus on digital marketing strategy and direct-to-consumer communication. You will be shaping and executing initiatives that move beyond traditional outreach to drive awareness, action, and adherence.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

  • Lead the Spanish execution of consumer marketing activities and annual planning processes across the cardiometabolic portfolio, with a focus on obesity
  • Put yourselves in the shoes of people living with chronic diseases to analyze patient flow and pain points, leveraging insights to shape strategies and improve engagement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Business Development, Marketing and Medical to identify and drive key projects that positively impact patient journeys
  • Pioneer consumer activation internationally and co-shape the European strategy at Novo Nordisk in close collaboration with regional counterparts
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaign success, evaluate performance against set benchmarks, and make data-driven adjustment as necessary
  • Manage campaigns effectively, leading the collaboration with creative agencies, and optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact while ensuring full compliance with our ethical and regulatory requirements

The business development department, anchored in our Customer Strategy & Solutions unit, is focused on developing innovative strategies that drive business growth while improving the patient journey for people living with chronic diseases. We emphasize collaboration and creativity, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure our initiatives align with both patient needs and commercial priorities. Our commitment to shape and evolve the commercial approach of the company ensures that we stay ahead and keep setting new industry benchmarks.

Your skills & qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine you have:

  • Educational background in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital and/or social media marketing within the health field (Pharmaceutical, consumer health, ...). Ideally experience developing patient and/or consumer activation strategies and tactics.
  • High level of strategic thinking and project ownership – you bring structure, action, and creativity together.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across functions with proven ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
