Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a DevOps & Automation Engineer to join the Assure team in Spain. You will drive build/release automation, CI/CD platform engineering, and developer enablement across DXC Assure SaaS deliveries, collaborating with Development, Operations, Architecture, and Security to ensure reliable, scalable pipelines.

You will contribute to automation frameworks, script development, and reusable workflows, while promoting best practices and continuous improvement in engineering

Qualifications

• Fluency in English required for cross‑team collaboration.
• Strong DevOps and automation mindset across the software lifecycle.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals and cloud knowledge.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud‑native platforms.
• Knowledge of agile practices and software delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines across products.
• Build and maintain automation for delivery, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Work with GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira to enable automation and delivery.
• Develop reusable workflows, scripts, and platform services to boost productivity.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, Security, and Architecture teams.
• Troubleshoot build systems, deployment workflows, and cloud infra issues.
• Support reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Evaluate new DevOps tech and tools for adoption in the DXC Assure platform.

At DXC Spain we are looking for a DevOps & Automation Engineer to join our great team of Assure.

The candidate will join DXC’s Software Build organization, responsible for the automation, delivery, and continuous improvement of DXC Assure Digital Platform's software development lifecycle.

Working within a global engineering team, the successful candidate will focus on build and release automation, CI/CD platform engineering, developer enablement, cloud infrastructure automation, and software delivery processes. The role will collaborate closely with Development, Operations, Architecture, Security, and Product teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and highly automated delivery pipelines across the DXC Assure SaaS ecosystem.

Tasks

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting the software development lifecycle across multiple products and services.
• Build and maintain automation solutions for software delivery, testing, deployment, release management, and operational processes.
• Work extensively with DevOps tooling including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, and related platforms to enable automation, CI/CD, and software delivery processes
• Develop automation frameworks, reusable workflows, scripts, and platform services that improve developer productivity and standardize delivery processes.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, Security, and Architecture teams to define and implement scalable engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build systems, release automation, deployment workflows, cloud infrastructure, and platform services.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps technologies, cloud services, and automation tools for adoption within the DXC Assure platform.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and automation best practices.
