AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to build scalable, secure server-side solutions and a reusable client integration system for a mission-critical SaaS platform.

You will own design, implementation, and delivery across multiple teams, focusing on robust microservices, observability, and automated pipelines. The role emphasizes collaboration with product and design teams, adherence to deadlines, and producing high-quality software.

Formación

• 5+ years of SaaS experience.
• High level of proficiency in Java and SQL.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• DevOps mindset with automation and continuous improvement.
• Observability and strong CI/CD practices.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Build reusable client integration system following secure cloud software practices.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to estimate, plan sprints, and meet delivery timelines.
• Plan and accurately estimate construction and delivery timelines.
• Contribute to technical documentation and automated build and deployment processes.
• Review code and participate in pull-request deployment process.

ABOUT THE ROLE

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of SaaS experience.
• High level of proficiency in Java and SQL.
• Knowledge of or prior experience with microservices architecture.
• DevOps mindset of automation and continuous improvement.
• Good understanding of observability and familiarity with strong CI/CD practices.
• A proven ability to meet deadlines, motivate others, and consistently produce high-quality, impactful results.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience building software in the cloud (AWS preferred).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build a cleanly designed, reusable client integration system adhering to secure cloud software best practices, from start to finish.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to understand requirements, create estimates, plan sprints, and meet delivery timelines.
• Plan and accurately estimate construction and delivery timelines.
• Contribute to technical documentation and automated build and deployment processes designed to increase engineer efficiency.
• Review code submitted by other software engineers and submit your own code for review as part of the pull-request deployment process.
