Formación

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance, CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years in finance/accounting, ideally in multinational or Big 4.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP, IFRS, and tax rules.

About the Role

We are seeking a Deputy Financial Manager for our Madrid office. This role supports the financial operations of Gotion's Spanish entity, with a focus on local accounting, tax compliance, financial control, and internal reporting. You will serve as the key finance contact in Spain, ensuring alignment with both local GAAP and IFRS standards, and acting as the bridge between HQ Finance and regional business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage local accounting per Spanish GAAP & IFRS.
  • Oversee tax filings, audits, and statutory reporting.
  • Prepare monthly & annual financial statements (P&L, BS, CF).
  • Coordinate with HQ on ERP, reporting, and internal controls.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Handle local treasury, payments, and banking matters.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and legal partners.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations & internal policies.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance, CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years in finance / accounting, ideally in multinational or Big 4.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP, IFRS, and tax rules.
  • Fluent in Spanish & English; Chinese is a plus.
  • Hands‑on with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong in Excel, analysis, and cross‑functional communication.
  • ROAC, CPA, ACCA is a plus
