Doctoral position at Department of Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Public University of Navarre, Spain

Objectives:

• Develop a quantum theoretical framework describing light–matter interactions in spatiotemporal metamaterials
• Investigate quantum light generation mechanisms in time-modulated media
• Explore quantum phenomena associated with synthetic motion, vacuum effects, and connections with general relativity

The candidate will develop multidisciplinary skills on nanophotonics theory, quantum optics, and will collaborate with experimentalists via secondments at Umeå University (UMU), and an industry internship at Menditech.
