Optiwisers busca un DBA Consultant para unirse a un equipo internacional, manteniendo bases de datos y middleware en entornos de nube y plataformas modernas.

La posición es freelance, con modelo de trabajo híbrido en Madrid y duración estimada de 12 meses. Se valorarán conocimientos de GDPR, Linux, redes y herramientas de monitorización, con inglés profesional como requisito.

Formación

• Dominio de Linux y redes (TCP/IP).
• Conocimientos de seguridad y cumplimiento (GDPR).
• Experiencia con herramientas de monitorización (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Conocimientos de bases de datos relacionales (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiaridad con IA, LLMs y marcos de desarrollo de agentes.

Responsabilidades

• Soporte de operación, mantenimiento y gobernanza de bases de datos y plataformas middleware.
• Participar en rotaciones de guardia y resolver incidencias de infraestructura, rendimiento y recursos cloud.
• Aplicar y mantener estándares de gestión de bases de datos y middleware a nivel de plataforma.
• Apoyar migraciones, optimización y gobernanza en el ecosistema tecnológico.
• Gestionar despliegue, liberación y soporte operacional de aplicaciones.
• Contribuir a la gobernanza de plataforma y a iniciativas de modernización.
• Impulsar mejoras de eficiencia y uso de recursos de la infraestructura.
• Colaborar con equipos internacionales para garantizar fiabilidad y servicio.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled DBA Consultant to join an international technology team supporting large-scale cloud, database, middleware, and application platforms. This role combines operational excellence, system governance, cloud infrastructure support, and cross-functional collaboration in a global environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of database and middleware services while contributing to platform standardization and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operation, maintenance, and governance support for database and middleware platforms.


• Participate in on-call rotations and support the resolution of infrastructure, performance, and cloud resource-related incidents.


• Implement and maintain platform-wide database and middleware management standards.


• Support migration, optimization, and governance initiatives across the technology landscape.


• Manage the deployment, release, and operational support of business applications.


• Contribute to container platform governance and application modernization initiatives.


• Drive initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure efficiency and resource utilization.


• Collaborate with international engineering and operations teams to ensure platform reliability and service excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems .


• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and .


• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana .


• Knowledge of international data protection and privacy regulations, including GDPR .


• Familiarity with AI technologies, large language models, and Agent development frameworks.


• Experience administering and supporting at least one relational database technology, such as:


• MySQL


• PostgreSQL


• Experience managing and maintaining caching technologies, such as:


• Redis


• MemCache


• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work effectively within a multicultural and distributed team environment.

Language Requirements

• Professional English communication skills are required.


• Chinese language skills are highly valued due to collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
