Job summary

Concentrix in Spain is seeking a Databricks - Data Engineer (IC) to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions that power BI and analytics initiatives across the organization. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, architects, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data products.

The ideal candidate has strong Databricks Lakehouse expertise, Python, Spark/PySpark, and hands-on Azure experience, plus solid SQL, Git, and data modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on Databricks expertise and modern data engineering methodologies.
• Strong experience with Python, Spark, and PySpark in data pipelines.
• Experience on Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Strong SQL skills and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Git and source control.
• Knowledge of data modeling, performance optimization, and data quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus good communication.
• Ability to work independently in global teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines with Databricks and cloud-native tech.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop data models, data quality frameworks, and monitoring.
• Support analytics, ML, AI initiatives, and enterprise reporting with data products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot data platform issues and improve performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance.
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive platform improvements.
