Sanofi seeks a Database Engineer – Deployment and Support to build, deploy, and support across SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. You will manage cloud database services, deploy infrastructure as code, and promote schema changes through CI/CD pipelines.

You will own deployments from day one through day two operations, ensuring recoverability, availability, and compliance in a global, regulated setting that underpins manufacturing, research, and enterprise systems.

Qualificações

• Proven track record deploying and supporting enterprise databases in large-scale environments.
• Experience with cloud database services and IaC tools is required.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy databases as code using Terraform, Ansible, and migration tooling with CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and operate high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Optimize performance and capacity with query tuning and analytics.
• Execute patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management to meet compliance SLAs.
• Implement database security and compliance measures including data masking and auditing.
• Automate repetitive tasks with scripting to reduce manual toil.
• Onboard databases into monitoring and observability platforms and define alerts.
