Kapsch TrafficCom AG is seeking a Data Scientist to design, implement, and productionize machine learning models. You will work with product owners, data engineers, and MLOps teams to transform complex business challenges into scalable AI solutions across analytics and forecasting use cases.

The role emphasizes experimentation, PoC delivery, and close collaboration with stakeholders in an Agile environment. Hybrid work, flexible hours, and substantial annual leave are offered.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data science, ML engineering, or similar
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Strong background in machine learning and model lifecycle management
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in analytics databases and large datasets
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and experimentation workflows
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and validate ML models with iterative experimentation and PoCs.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Data Engineers, and MLOps to deploy AI solutions.
• Develop forecasting and time-series models with a focus on business impact.
• Perform feature engineering and model evaluation, track evolution with MLflow.
• Create demos and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
