ThetaRay in Madrid is seeking a Data Scientist to apply deep data science and ML expertise to real-world financial crime detection. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and critical finance challenges, translating complex solutions into tangible value for customers.

You will lead end-to-end deployments, design customer-specific solutions, guide data engineering efforts, and collaborate with partners.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience as a data scientist or data engineer in financial services.
• Strong data mining and forensic analytics capabilities.
• Experience working with customers is a plus.
• Hands-on Python/PySpark and DS workflow tools (MLflow, Airflow) required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver successful deployment and pilots.
• Design and manage customer-specific technical solutions throughout projects.
• Provide technical leadership for data science and engineering teams.
• Develop feature engineering across diverse data sources.
• Apply business knowledge to analytics work.
• Extract insights from large data volumes and investigate anomalies.
• Build and manage technical relationships with customers and partners.
• Provide product input to management.
• Train customers on system usage and monitoring; travel to customer sites.
