INVENSITY Group is seeking a data scientist/algorithm engineer to tackle data crunching, validation, and predictive maintenance challenges across aerospace, automotive, and industrial tech. You’ll work with Kubernetes, Spark, and Airflow to build scalable data pipelines and models.

You will collaborate with agile teams, mentor peers, and contribute to workshops while growing your career in a cutting-edge tech environment in Barcelona.

Formación

• Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in Data Science with focus on predictive maintenance or sensor technologies.
• Strong background in processing large-scale data and understanding of statistical patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Tame messy datasets using statistical models to ensure data quality and extract insights.
• Design robust algorithms for large data volumes to boost functionality and safety.
• Deploy state monitoring algorithms in safety-critical environments with sensor networks.
• Collaborate with agile, interdisciplinary teams and directly with clients on-site.
• Lead workshops, mentor colleagues, and drive project-based knowledge sharing.

Your profile

• Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field

• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in Data Science—ideally with a focus on predictive maintenance, sensor technologies, or the aerospace industry

• Strong background in processing large-scale data and a deep understanding of statistical patterns and modeling

• Proficient in Python programming, especially in data-centric applications

• Experience with tools and platforms like Kubernetes, Jenkins, Apache Spark, or Apache Airflow is a big plus

• Passionate about metrology, software development, algorithm design, sensor tech, predictive maintenance, and statistics

• Fluent in English and business‑proficient in Spanish
