Q-Tech Barcelona hub is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design and scale systems processing millions of events daily, build batch and real-time pipelines, and write production-grade Python backend logic. You will integrate data from Splunk, ServiceNow, and Salesforce to enable AI-driven analytics.

This role is hybrid, based at Plaça Catalunya with onsite days, salary €40K–€55K, and benefits including private health insurance, meal vouchers, transport, a wellbeing budget, home-office support,

Qualifications

• Production-level Python experience.
• Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing.
• Background in data pipelines (ELT).
• Knowledge of distributed and event-driven systems.
• Engineering mindset for scalable, maintainable systems.
• English required in international environments.
• Nice-to-have: cybersecurity experience; Kafka, Airflow, DBT, Kubernetes, cloud.
