AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Data Engineer with strong Databricks and GCP experience to develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and productionize agentic workflows for data engineering automation.

You will design, build, and optimize pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL, integrate with GCP/BigQuery and Delta Lake, and create reusable components to support new datasets and business needs. Collaboration across teams will drive automation and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Databricks and PySpark experience.
• Advanced SQL and data-processing skills are required.
• GCP experience, especially BigQuery, is essential.
• Experience with Delta Lake and modern lakehouse architectures.
• Strong ETL/ELT, data pipeline design, performance optimization, and data quality.
• Track record building reliable, scalable data solutions and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Databricks PySpark and SQL.
• Build and operationalize agentic workflows to automate data engineering tasks.
• Integrate agentic capabilities with Databricks, GCP, BigQuery, and Delta Lake.
• Develop data pipelines to support new datasets and business requirements.
• Create reusable data engineering frameworks for multiple use cases.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, validation, and production controls.
• Optimize PySpark and SQL workloads for performance and reliability.
• Support testing, deployment, productionization, and ongoing enhancements.
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and collaborate across teams to pursue automation.
