Amazon in Barcelona is seeking a data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines powering EU Transportation decisions. You will join the MINT team, shaping data infrastructure and governance while collaborating with engineers, operations, finance, and science to ensure data quality and a single source of truth across datasets.

• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and automate scalable data pipelines (Redshift, Glue).
• Evolve data models and schemas to ensure accuracy and single source of truth.
• Develop and maintain curated reference datasets and data assets.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot production data incidents.
• Plan and implement future data storage and integration solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and science to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Investigate root causes of data defects to ensure reliability across the platform.
• Experience with SQL-based languages and scripting (Python).
• Understand data quality and governance concepts.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders.

You will tackle data quality, storage, and integration challenges while collaborating with operations, finance, and science.
