MDW is seeking a Data Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale data solutions on Microsoft Fabric and Azure, building robust pipelines and scalable architectures for diverse clients in a hybrid model that blends on-site collaboration with remote work within Spain.

You will own end-to-end data pipelines, work in Agile teams, and engage with clients to align solutions with business goals while partnering with an international MDW team for growth.

Formación

• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Platform and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Azure services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Functions, Logic Apps).
• Strong skills in Python/PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with data modelling: star schemas, snowflake schemas and medallion architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Nice to have: Kafka real-time workflows; IaC with Terraform, Bicep, ARM or Pulumi; Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, Fabric Eventhouse; Master Data Management and Microsoft Purview governance.

Your Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge, enterprise-scale Data projects with solid expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform, a proven consulting background, and strong interpersonal skills to support clients technically and in project management and delivery governance.

What You Will Do

Design and deliver enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric and Azure data solutions, building robust pipelines and scalable data architectures across complex environments. Build and evolve Data Solutions on Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. Take end-to-end ownership of data pipelines, from data processing to BI-ready datasets. Deliver real consulting projects across industries, working in Agile teams and reacting quickly to evolving requirements. Provide personalized support to clients, working closely with them on-site in a hybrid model, ensuring effective collaboration and solutions that align with their business objectives. Build lasting relationships with end business stakeholders and own the commitments made to them. Collaborate with an international team of experts at MDW to grow together.

Technical Requirements

• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Platform and Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with Azure services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.)
• Strong skills in Python/Py Spark and SQL
• Experience with data modelling: star schemas, snowflake schemas and medallion architecture
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure Dev Ops

Nice to Have

• Experience designing real-time workflows using technologies such as Kafka
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM or Pulumi
• Knowledge of Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, Fabric Eventhouse, etc.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview

Soft Skills & Language

• Ability to make and honour commitments
• Ability to build relationships with end business stakeholders
• Strong client communication skills, ensuring effective management and a positive experience throughout the project
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Fluent in Spanish and English
