Zusammenfassung

PSD Group is seeking a Data Engineer for a global technology client in Madrid. You will work across a broad data landscape to bring together data from across the organisation and make it available for analytics, ML and AI on Databricks and Azure.

Collaborate with data engineers, architects, scientists and business analysts to design scalable data pipelines, implement ETL/ELT processes, and help the company derive actionable insights from diverse sources.

Qualifikationen

• 2 to 5+ years in data engineering or Big Data environments.
• Hands-on experience with Python and SQL, including clean coding and object-oriented programming practices.
• Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, ideally within Microsoft Azure.

Our client is a global technology organisation at the heart of the air transport industry, providing technology and communications solutions that help keep airports moving, airlines operating smoothly and borders open.

We are looking for a Data Engineer, with up to 5 years experience, to join the growing Central Data Team, working at the heart of the organisation's data strategy. This is not a role focused on a single product, business unit or dataset. You will work across a broad and diverse data landscape, helping to bring together data from across the organisation and the wider air transport ecosystem and making it available for analytics, machine learning, AI and other business‑critical use cases. You will help build the data engineering capabilities, patterns and foundations that enable the organisation to make better use of its data at scale.

Working with data engineers, data architects, data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders, you will design and implement scalable data solutions on a centrally managed Databricks and Azure platform.

You will ideally bring:

• 2 to 5+ years' experience working in data engineering or closely related Big Data environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Python and SQL, including clean coding and object‑oriented programming practices.
• Experience working with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, ideally within Microsoft Azure.
