A leading recruitment agency is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a project in Madrid. The role involves assessing needs, coordinating with teams, and designing technical solutions. Candidates should have a strong background in Azure tools, Power BI, and Python, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Formación

• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a Data Engineer position.
• Strong knowledge of Data tools and ETL processes on Azure.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Python programming.

Responsabilidades

• Assess functional and technical requirements for monitoring solutions.
• Coordinate with third party teams for data integration.
• Design technical solutions including data model and integration flow.

Job Description

Location: Madrid, Spain - (Hybrid 3 days in office / 2 days from home)

Type: Contract 3 Months Rolling / + On-going Extensions

Start: 29 May 2023

Context

Monitoring Solutions product provides monitoring capabilities covering applications performance, LOG events and BAU KPIs.

Along the initiatives aiming to increase the quality of service within the group, we are building several QoS dashboards, following industrial approach.

The candidate must be located in the Madrid area, and willing to go to the office 3 days per week.

Services

• Assessment of the needs to set up a list of functional and technical requirements
• Supporting Coordination with third party teams (Data integration team & Datalake team)
• Implementation of data ingestion and transformation
• Implementation of specific calculations and filtering according to the requirements
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar position is required.

Design of the technical solution covering the needs (Data model, Integration flow, Data mapping)

Build integration layer based on Azure datalake : DAX, Databricks, Azure Cubes, Azure Dev ops

PowerBI dashboards connected to Azure Cubes

Implementation of specific calculations and filtering according to the requirements

Requirements

• Experienced Data Engineer (Architecture solution cloud Azure)
• Strong knowledge of Data tools (Azure Data Catalogue)
• Experienced with ETL on Azure (EventHub / Synapse Analytics / Data Factory)
• Experienced with Microsoft Power BI
• Experienced with Python
• Experienced with Service PaaS big data Azure (Databricks, ADLS, ...)
• Experienced with Azure Devops
