Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Barcelona seeks an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead mechanical, electrical and plumbing coordination on data centre projects. You will support the Construction Manager, coordinate with contractors and the project team, and ensure safe on-site progress.

A university degree in a related field and several years of MEP project experience (data centres preferred) are required. Strong communication and organizational skills, a team attitude, and willingness to work

Qualifications

University degree in Mechanical, MEP, Construction Management or related field.
Several years of experience as a MEP Manager for major construction projects; data centres preferred.
Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with team-oriented mindset.
Willingness to support other groups and projects when required.

Responsibilities

Support the Construction Manager in coordinating all parties during construction, especially for installations.
Coordinate construction activities with contractors and project management team.
Support procurement in managing tenders.
Assist cost manager with costs and changes related to their specialty.
Monitor contractual compliance, timelines, quality, and safety with the project management team.
Coordinate commissioning activities related to their specialty.
