Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is expanding its data center footprint, and we need a Controls Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the building management system (BMS) and EPMS that govern the mechanical and electrical infrastructure of our data centers.

You will plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, manage improvement projects, and collaborate with operations teams to ensure facilities run safely and reliably, while supporting on-call rotations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with BMS/EPMS systems and data center infrastructure.
• Vendor management experience.
• Experience in data center or critical environments.
• Experience with project management and construction.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BMS and EPMS systems.
• Manage scope, schedule, and execution of controls improvement projects, including SOO and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical control issues across generators, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, design teams, and external vendors to review maintenance outcomes and ensure codes/standards compliance.
• Provide hands-on training on equipment operation, BMS/EPMS configuration, and best practices.
