Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction projects at a Zaragoza, Spain data centre site. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget across civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning disciplines, interfacing with GC/contractors to ensure safe, high‑quality result.

You will coordinate with vendors, lead bid evaluations, and drive construction from proposal to turnover, shaping resilient, energy‑efficient data centres for AWS

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in construction of data center delivery or equivalent facilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Construction project management and oversight of activities for data centre builds or capital projects, including scope, timeline, and budget.
• Direct interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure efficient project turnover and high quality results.
• Lead negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope documents and RFPs; manage financials including change orders and invoicing.
• Review electrical and mechanical designs for new or optimized data centres; support commissioning processes.
