Mondelēz International is seeking a versatile Full Stack Engineer with a strong foundation in Data Engineering to join our Media Data Platform team.   • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years in IT solution ownership, application management, or product ownership with Google Cloud exposure.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud, BigQuery, DBT.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, PySpark, Airflow for data pipelines.
  • Experience with visualisation tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Looker Studio.

Media Data Platform team owns the collection, distribution of media data and operates services that provide near real-time operational views of consumer touchpoints. We maximise capture, storage, analysis of our billions of impressions and tags, and apply analytics, algorithms and visualisation to drive media performance monitoring, new insight creation and activation automation back in the ad tech stack.
Following our organization's exciting shift toward a product-oriented approach, we are evolving our data capabilities to deliver direct, high-impact value to our business stakeholders. We are seeking a versatile Full Stack Engineer with a strong foundation in Data Engineering to join our Media Data Platform team.
In this role, you will be the bridge between complex data infrastructure and user-facing solutions.
Position overview
The Full Stack Engineer adheres to business and technical standards, policies, and procedures throughout the software delivery lifecycle whilst accurately sizing and estimating the effort required to deliver technical solutions. You will develop, build, configure, customise, integrate, and test high-quality solutions based on functional and technical requirements. You will follow Agile methodologies and principles through work outputs and behaviours. You will work with other Product Team members (e.g., Product Owner, Business Analyst) to ideate software solutions.
You will act as the champion and advocate via a thorough understanding of Google cloud technologies, helping to deploy Big Data solutions, provide guidance for vendors designated to build and manage data pipelines & ETL processes, and cloud data migrations in a production, secure and scalable manner.
How You Will Contribute
In this role, you will collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to bridge the gap between complex data engineering and real business impact.
You will work with project resources to provide design collateral and to configure software components that are aligned with security policy and governance, ensure adherence configuration standards and processes, and share your knowledge of the technology with relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
+ Data Engineering & Pipeline Management: Own and advance our internal media data platform. Partner with external vendors to design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines connecting various media platforms.
+ Full-Stack Product Development: Transition data into actionable products. Design, develop, and maintain internal reporting tools, interactive dashboards, and AI-driven solutions.
+ Product-Oriented Execution: Adopt a product mindset-ensuring scalability, reliability, and a great user experience for all internal data tools.
+ Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all pipelines and downstream applications.
+ Manage suppliers who build and maintain the digital data platforms and drive continuous improvement and optimization programs. Ensure the consistent application of software engineering best practices (e.g. version control, testing, continuous integration)
+ Ensure that all data integration infrastructure works as designed (API, orchestration, SFTP etc.)
+ Provide cleaned, transformed data sets ready for analysis through various delivery mechanisms: flat file extracts, data marts, API
+ Maintain data documentation & definitions
+ Facilitate change management and continuous improvement to maximize user adoption and business value.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 5+ years in IT solution ownership, application management, or product ownership - preferably with Google Cloud solutions
+ Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud, BigQuery, DBT
+ Knowledge of tools, methodology for achieving the best-in‑class data management (SQL, Python, PySpark, Airflow)
+ Experience working with visualisation tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio
+ Experience in media data engineering and adtech data integration challenges.

The Position
The PTE (Pharma Technical Operations Digital Analytics & Operational Excellence) organization will catalyze the global development and execution of PT's Digital and Operational Excellence strategy to enable PT to realize our performance promises. We will build a strong cross-functional and inclusive community, put the power of data into the hands of our people, further develop the Lean and Digital skills across PT, and scale up our Digital and Advanced Analytics solutions, for the benefit of our colleagues and patients.
PTE's Digital Data Backbone Chapter will enable this vision by making FAIR data available across the organization establishing a decentralized, value driven and data product centric approach.
As a member of the PTE Data Engineering and Architecture Team, you will work in multi-disciplinary environments harnessing data to provide real-world impact for our processes and products. You'll work closely with a team of data scientists, subject matter experts and other data engineers in order to curate, transform and construct features which feed directly into our modeling approach. Additionally, you will contribute to the delivering FAIR data products.
This role requires an individual who can and wants to collaborate, listen and learn from colleagues, challenge thoughtfully and prioritize impact of work. You will be responsible for finding improvements in advanced data analytic models and data architecture. We are looking for someone who can quickly adapt to an ever changing environment, has a passion to learn and can be trusted to work in the best interests of colleagues.
Job Responsibilities
+ Acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources and systems into Big Data platforms
+ Building modular pipeline to construct features and modeling tables
+ Collect clear requirements from SMEs and process experts.
+ Hybrid technical role interfacing with process SMEs using state of the art technologies, whilst also being able to communicate complex intractable ideas to non-technical audiences.
+ Understanding, assessing and mapping the data landscape
+ Work with our process experts to model their data landscape, obtain data extracts and define secure data exchange approaches
+ Collaborate with our data scientists to map data fields to hypotheses and curate, wrangle, and prepare data for use in their advanced analytical models
Supplementary Responsibilities
+ Maintaining our Information Security standards on the engagement
+ Defining the technology stack to be provisioned by our infrastructure team
+ Use new and creative techniques to deliver impact for our clients as well as internal R&D projects
Who you are
Education and Experience
+ University Degree with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry specializing in bioprocess manufacturing sciences and technology or 5+ years of working experience with a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Proven and significant experience building and managing data pipelines.
+ Ability to build and manage data pipelines with Python, Scala or Java.
+ Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as code reviews, testing frameworks, maintainability and readability.
+ Commercial client-facing project experience is helpful, including working in close-knit teams
+ Capable of working across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, extract information and identify linkages across disparate data sets.
+ Meaningful experience in multiple database technologies (such as Hadoop, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Teradata, Snowflake).
+ Confirmed ability in clearly communicating complex solutions
+ Deep understanding of Information Security principles to ensure compliant handling and management of process data
+ Experience and interest in Cloud platforms such as: AWS, Azure, or Google Platform
+ Familiarity with data warehousing and deploying ETL processes with Python. Extraordinary attention to detail.
+ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills: can get things done in a way that optimizes results, strengthens internal and external relationships, and with consideration of resources.
+ Knowledge of cGMP's, Health Authority regulations, and Quality Systems.
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Safety Considerations
+ Ability to work in an international/global environment. 5-15% travel anticipated.
+ May work in the clean room environment that requires gowning in the form of hospital scrubs,
+ Ability to sit, stand and move within work space for extended periods
+ Able to work on co-located or remote cross-functional teams
