Job summary

Hack In Hire seeks a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to join our client’s offices in Spain. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and develop security tools, while implementing new solutions and creating thorough documentation.

The role covers RHEL and Windows infrastructure maintenance, patch management automation, and building pipelines in Azure DevOps. You will collaborate with security, networking, architecture, and DevOps teams, using EDR and SIEM tools, and apply Azure-focused CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in IT infrastructure roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux (RHEL) — automation, troubleshooting, performance tuning.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server — Active Directory, Group Policy, automation.
• Experience with automation tools and technologies (Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Bash/PowerShell scripting).
• Strong knowledge of Azure and CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps Pipelines, YAML).
• Hands-on experience with EDR solutions, preferably Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g. Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic, ArcSight, Chronicle).
• Fluent in English both spoken and written (minimum B2).
