Job summary

Abalia busca un Ingeniero de Software Multiplataforma para construir y mantener aplicaciones móviles que midan rendimiento y diagnósticos de redes. Participarás en Speedtest Pulse, Ekahau y más, trabajando con Kotlin Multiplatform, Vue.js, TypeScript, Capacitor y desarrollo nativo iOS/Android.

Este rol de fin de desarrollo end-to-end implica ownership y calidad, con enfoque en CI/CD y entrega a producción. Modelo híbrido en Alicante.

Qualifications

• Experiencia sólida en ingeniería de software, especialmente en desarrollo móvil.
• Fuerte experiencia con Kotlin/Android o Swift/iOS.
• Se valora Kotlin Multiplatform; capacidad para trabajar con varias plataformas.
• Conocimiento de TypeScript, Vue.js y Capacitor es una ventaja.
• Buena comprensión de arquitectura de software, pruebas, CI/CD y lanzamientos.
• Experiencia diaria usando agentes de IA para codificación, pruebas y revisión.
• Mentalidad de propiedad de extremo a extremo y capacidad de tomar decisiones técnicas.

Responsibilities

• Desarrollar y mantener lógica de aplicación compartida usando Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Construir interfaces web móviles con Vue.js, TypeScript y Capacitor.
• Contribuir al desarrollo nativo iOS con Swift y Android con Kotlin.
• Trabajar en toda la pila para resolver cuellos de botella técnicos.
• Mantener pipelines CI/CD y apoyar lanzamientos en App Store/Google Play.
• Usar agentes de IA en el flujo diario de trabajo para especificaciones y pruebas.
• Mantener el código compartido simple, mantenible y actualizado.
• Colaborar con el equipo de ingeniería para soluciones móviles fiables.

Position: Software Engineering – Custom Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Cross-Platform Software Engineer to build and maintain mobile applications that help network professionals measure, troubleshoot and validate Wi-Fi and network performance in the field.

You will contribute to Speedtest Pulse, Ekahau Survey and Ekahau Analyzer, working across a technology stack that combines Kotlin Multiplatform, Vue.js, TypeScript, Capacitor and native iOS and Android development.

This is an end-to-end engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working across different layers of a mobile platform and taking ownership of software quality and delivery.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain shared application logic using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), covering networking, data management, synchronization and device communication.
• Build and maintain web-based mobile interfaces using Vue.js, TypeScript and Capacitor.
• Contribute to native iOS development using Swift and Android development using Kotlin.
• Work across the stack, helping address technical bottlenecks wherever your skills are most valuable.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support application releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Use AI coding agents as part of your daily workflow for specifications, implementation, code reviews, testing and quality assurance.
• Keep the shared codebase simple, maintainable and up to date.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver reliable mobile solutions for real-world networking challenges.

What we're looking for

• Solid professional experience in software engineering, particularly in mobile application development.
• Strong experience with Kotlin/Android or Swift/iOS.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is highly valued. Candidates with a strong native mobile background and the ability to work across platforms are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern frontend development. Experience with Vue.js and Capacitor is a plus.
• Good understanding of software architecture, testing, CI/CD and production releases.
• Daily experience using AI coding agents, with a focus on code quality, testing and maintainability.
• An end-to-end ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+ level or above), both written and spoken. The interview process will be conducted in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of networking technologies, including wired and wireless protocols.
• Experience with Wi-Fi analysis, network diagnostics or communication with external devices.
• Familiarity with data synchronization and data collection in mobile environments.
• Experience maintaining and releasing applications across both iOS and Android.

Working arrangements

• Hybrid work: Availability to work from our Alicante office 2–3 days per week is required.
• Working hours:
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00–18:00
• Friday: 08:00–14:30
• Summer schedule: Monday to Thursday, 08:00–15:00; Friday, 08:00–14:30
