American Express is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join the Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) group in Madrid. You will help identify, develop, and implement capabilities to enhance customer risk assessments using rich data, collaborating with Compliance, Legal, and Data Privacy to derive insights shaping business strategy.

The role offers exposure to state-of-the-art risk management tools, with a strong focus on digital servicing and cross-functional collaboration across regions.

Formación

• Advanced degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Experience in developing strategic insights demonstrating data analytics.
• Experience in SQL and Python.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, develop, and implement capabilities to enhance customer risk assessments using data.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Data Privacy to derive analytical insights.
• Derive insights that shape business strategy and monitor risk indicators.
• Work with Center-of-Excellence teams to deploy decision science tools and risk management capabilities.

Conocimientos

Fluent Spanish and English

Understanding of credit risk

Experience in unsecured lending or/pay
