Job summary

Zurich Insurance Group, via ServiZurich in Barcelona, is seeking a motivated Credit Research Intern to support fundamental research on corporate issuers and credit metrics. You will work on sector analyses, maintain research materials, and help develop analytical tools with modern technology.

The role offers hands-on exposure to traditional credit analysis and tech-enabled investment research, with up to 30 hours per week paid and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, data science, computer science or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in financial markets, fixed income and corporate credit.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to Python, SQL, VBA or similar tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support fundamental credit and sector research across corporate issuers.
• Review financial statements, earnings releases, and investor materials.
• Monitor credit metrics, leverage, liquidity, and issuer risks.
• Collaborate on development of dashboards and automated research workflows.
