Ideal candidates should have strong skills in Unity and Unreal Engine, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for experimentation. Formación

The Role

BoraBora Studio is on the hunt for a versatile Creative Technologist / Technical — someone who thrives in hybrid, multi-disciplinary environments, loves wearing more than one hat, and gets energized by switching from concept to prototype to polished delivery.

This is a role for someone who bridges technical mastery and creative intuition. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, motion artists, and creative directors to build meaningful, real-time experiences while keeping an artistic eye on quality, interaction, and aesthetics.

What You’ll Do

• Creative Technology & Real-Time Development (Core focus – ~80%)
  • Develop interactive and immersive experiences using Unity, Unreal Engine, and TouchDesigner.
  • Translate creative concepts into functioning prototypes and final outputs.
  • Bring strong artistic sensibility to real-time visuals: composition, lighting, animation, look-dev.
  • Support virtual production, VJ workflows, real-time motion graphics, and experiential content.>
• Technical Direction & Pipeline Support
  • Guide or co-define technical approaches for projects across different teams.
  • Work hands-on with designers, motion artists, and creative leads to ensure feasibility and excellence.
  • Propose smart workflows that integrate creative needs with technical constraints.
• Backend / Web (Secondary – ~20%)
  • Support light backend / web tasks or integrations when needed (API work, small tools, etc.).
  • Help connect interactive installations with backend logic or online systems.
• Collaboration & Culture
  • Contribute to a team that values openness, creativity, and positive energy.
  • Maintain strong communication across disciplines — design, tech, and creative direction.
  • Work autonomously while being a strong team player (very important for this team!).

You Are…

A mix of hands-on maker and creative thinker with a sharp eye for aesthetics. Someone who loves experimenting, prototyping, and pushing boundaries.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Unity and / or Unreal Engine (real-time pipelines).
• Experience with TouchDesigner or willingness to grow into it fast.
• A solid sense of creative aesthetics: motion, composition, interactivity, artistic direction.
• Ability to work hands-on across technical and creative tasks.
• Experience with virtual production, VJing, interactive content, or immersive installations.
• Collaborative mindset, open personality, and comfort working in small elite teams.

Nice-to-Haves

• Backend / web basics (Python, JS, APIs, data handling).
• Motion design foundations or background in creative coding.
• Experience with spatial design, experiential environments, or digital art.
• Knowledge of shaders, real-time lighting, or look-dev.
