A leading automotive innovation firm is seeking a Creative Innovation Support based in Madrid for a remote role focusing on developing innovation approaches. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Automotive or Industrial Design with over 5 years of experience in the automotive sector. Responsibilities include designing workshops, organizing hackathons, and collaborating with universities to enhance innovation strategies. Proficiency in design tools is essential, and fluency in English is mandatory, with Spanish or French as a plus.

Formación

• At least 5 years of experience in Automotive Design.
• Knowledge of the latest trends in automotive powertrain.
• Passion for engines and innovative technologies in hybrid ICE, e‑fuels, and decarbonation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and facilitate innovation-focused workshops using Design Thinking.
• Organize and coordinate hackathons at universities.
• Build and maintain partnerships with universities and external innovation partners.
• Produce and iterate interactive prototypes and presentations.
• Collect feedback and analyze results to enhance future innovation activities.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams in design best practices.
• Ensure consistency in visual language across all outputs.

Job Title : Creative Innovation Support (Automotive Industry)

Location : Madrid, Spain

Work Regime : Full-time & Remote

• Remote Work Model with main attachment to Madrid Office
• 3 months mission, with possible extensions

Overview

We are looking for a Creative Innovation Support to work with our client from the Automotive Powertrain Sector. This role will be instrumental in developing internal and open innovation approaches based on Design and Design Thinking. You will contribute to the company’s innovation and strategic direction in the context of the Green transition, supporting hybrid ICE, e‑fuels, and decarbonation initiatives.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Design and facilitate innovation-focused workshops for engineers and students using Design Thinking methodology.
• Organize and coordinate hackathons at universities, from theme creation to logistics, engagement, feedback, and project integration.
• Build and maintain partnerships with universities and external innovation partners to co‑create engineering events.
• Produce and iterate interactive prototypes, illustrations, and concept sketches to support ideation, user engagement, and presentations.
• Collect feedback and analyze results to enhance future innovation activities and outcomes.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams in applying design best practices for product definition, workshop results, and event narratives.
• Ensure consistency in visual language across all innovation outputs.

Requirements

• Mandatory Requirements :
• Education : Degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or related field
• Experience : At least 5 years in Automotive Design.
• Interpersonal skills : Strong analytical and synthesis abilities; excellent organizational skills; resourceful and independent; ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively; talent for making people work together.
• Languages : Fluency in English; in addition, fluency in Spanish or French.
• Stack Tech : Proficiency in Visualization and Design tools / software (e.g., Adobe Suite, CAD tools, prototyping tools).
• Complementary Requirements :
• Knowledge of the latest trends in automotive powertrain.
• Passion for engines, automotive products, and innovative technologies in hybrid ICE, e‑fuels, and decarbonation.
