A leading cryptocurrency firm is seeking a Country Manager for Europe to drive market growth, manage operations, and build strategic partnerships across the EU. The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of experience in relevant fields, a deep understanding of the crypto landscape, and fluency in English. This full-time role is remote, ideal for candidates in Poland or Italy, and offers a dynamic work environment focused on growth and compliance.

Country Manager (Europe)

Location: Remote, based in the EU (prefer Poland, Italy)

As the Country Manager for the European market, with a strong preference for candidates based in Poland, you will take ownership of local market growth, operations, and strategic partnerships within the region. This role requires a highly motivated self‑starter with a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape, marketing acumen, and a strong local network.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience managing crypto or fintech growth in CEE or EU markets, strong operational capabilities, and fluency in English.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute localized business strategies to grow market presence in EU region.
  • Lead all operational functions, including customer support coordination, marketing initiatives, and community engagement.
  • Drive user acquisition, brand awareness, and market penetration through localized marketing campaigns and events.
  • Build strategic partnerships with local institutions, media outlets, and key stakeholders in the crypto and fintech ecosystems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant EU and local regulations, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
  • Act as the regional spokesperson and brand ambassador for the company neighboring EU markets.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with global teams (product, engineering, compliance, etc.) to align local efforts with global goals.
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a high‑performing local team as operations scale.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees a plus.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business development, marketing, or operations; experience in crypto, fintech, or high‑growth tech companies is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of European financial, tech, or crypto ecosystems; knowledge of neighboring EU markets is a plus.
  • Familiarity with local and EU regulatory environments for cryptocurrency or digital finance products.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional EU languages are a bonus.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage cross‑border collaboration.
  • Results‑driven, hands‑on, and adaptable to fast‑paced environments.
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience as a Country Manager or launching a market from 0→1.
  • Understanding of decentralized technologies or web3 ecosystems.
