A biotech startup in Madrid is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to manage and optimize day-to-day operations across their innovative network of Black Soldier Fly farms. The role requires proven leadership in a startup atmosphere, expertise in global logistics, and ability to implement robust operational processes. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, with strong project management skills and fluency in both English and Spanish. Formación

• Proven experience in a startup or scaleup environment (industrial, hardware, biotech, foodtech, or supply chain).
• Hands-on experience with packaging production, sourcing, and quality control.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement processes from scratch.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across the entire network of container farms.
• Drive industrial scalability by building robust SOPs and QA systems.
• Manage internal logistics including inventory and stock rotation.

Conocimientos

Proven experience as COO / Director of Operations

Hands-on experience with China manufacturing

Strong expertise in global logistics

Analytical mindset with a KPI-driven approach

Fluency in English and Spanish
