ICON plc is a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research. We are seeking a Contract Analyst II in Madrid to design and analyze clinical trials, interpret complex data, and advance innovative therapies.

You will manage contracts and vendor relationships, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient execution. Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts, negotiating terms, assessing risks, and maintaining records in contract systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, communications, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration or contract management, preferably in pharma or clinical research.
• Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory requirements, and vendor agreements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5%.

Responsabilidades

• Reviewing and analyzing contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to clinical trial activities and vendor relationships.
• Negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess contract risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of contract status, milestones, and deliverables using contract management systems.
• Providing guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation, compliance, and dispute resolution.

What You Will Do:

You will take responsibility for contract management deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and analyzing contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to clinical trial activities and vendor relationships.
• Negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess contract risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of contract status, milestones, and deliverables using contract management systems.
• Providing guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation, compliance, and dispute resolution.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant contract management experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, communications, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a related field, preferable in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
• Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and regulatory requirements related to clinical trials and vendor agreements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex contractual issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
