About The Role

• Performing a wide range of cybersecurity engagements in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.
• Performing specific technical tasks to help triage breaches, analyse data quickly and understand underlying causes and issues. Your analysis will provide actionable answers.
• Working as part of multi-functional teams to help clients manage and navigate breaches, and the operational, reputational and regulatory impacts they bring.
• Supporting and developing your skills around cyber incident response and investigations, developing both your technical and written skills to provide accurate and concise reports for a sophisticated client base of top-tier law firms, financial institutions and corporations.
• Maintaining or developing current knowledge of industry trends, threats, methodologies and core technologies in order to assimilate client needs and help decide appropriate courses of action.
• Being able to participate in assessments of threats, risks and vulnerabilities, applying a combination of technical skills and critical thinking.
• Helping to improve how we work, identifying areas for improvement and making suggestions to expand our portfolio of services, or improve our efficiency and effectiveness of delivery.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Soft skills

• Aptitude: Curious and eager to learn, with passion for cyber topics and potential to become an expert.

• Critical Thinking: Analyzes issues objectively, handles ambiguity, and seeks root causes.

• Dynamism: Self-starter who meets deadlines, communicates well, and suggests improvements.

• Communication: Clear, audience-focused communicator, comfortable asking questions, with possible international experience.

Basic Requirements

• A strong degree from a top university. Ideally some technical certifications or training on cyber security e.g. SANS courses

• Relevant years of experience in cybersecurity including one or more of the following:

• Cyber Readiness (cyber strategy and policies, cyber regulations, technical playbook/procedures for cyber incident response and detection, cyber exercising and tablets, cyber training and awareness)

• Cyber incident response (incident handler, coordinating the workstreams in an incident response, engaging with regulators about an incident, cyber intelligence research, technical triage of an incident to investigate the root cause, threat hunting etc.)

• Cyber Investigation (forensic analysis, insider threat / Data Loss Prevention, DFIR, acquisition and analysis of endpoints, eDiscovery, data analytics, malware analysis)

• Cyber Intelligence (experience using industry intelligence tools; OSINT analysis; Dark web presence and monitoring experience; malware reverse engineering; creation of tactical and/or strategic intelligence reports)

• Pentesting and Red Teaming A technical degree/masters ideally with a focus on cybersecurity
