Northland Power is seeking a Consolidation Analyst to oversee the consolidation of all entities in Spain, ensuring IFRS compliance and accurate reporting.

The role is hybrid, with four days in the Madrid office and one flexible day for remote work, collaborating with cross‑functional teams across regions.

Formación

• Degree in economics or business administration; MBA valued.
• Minimum 5 years consolidation or audit experience in international companies.
• Solid understanding of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with consolidation tools (Oracle FCCS, HFM, Onestream, SAP BPC).
• Experience with ERP systems (Workday desirable).
• Fluent in English; strong systems and technical skills.
• Proven ability to simplify and streamline processes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare Financial Consolidation Models and Corporate Reporting Package under IFRS using Oracle FCCS.
• Support e-invoicing implementation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain IFRS 16 module: accruals, lease liabilities, IFRS reporting.
• Report monthly Cash Flow forms.
• Assist with quarterly review and year-end audit processes to ensure smooth close.
• Prepare consolidation journal entries and Consolidation Models.
• Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements under Spanish GAAPs for statutory accounts.
• Support process improvements, internal/external audits, and ad hoc projects.

What You’ll Do

The Consolidation Analyst will be responsible for the consolidation of all entities in Spain.

The role will be required to work in the office 4 days per week with one flexible day to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Financial Consolidation Models and Corporate Reporting Package on quarterly basis under IFRS using the FCCS tool (Oracle)
• Support the implementation of e-invoicing requirements and processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal standards.
• Participate in and support the maintenance of the IFRS 16 accounting module, ensuring accurate accounting accruals, lease liability calculations, and compliance with IFRS reporting requirements.
• Report monthly Cash Flow forms
• Assist with the quarterly review and year-end audit process. Ensure efficient and successful yearend close and satisfactory audit results with minimal issues identified.
• Prepare consolidation journal entries for reporting and Consolidation Models
• Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements under Spanish GAAPs for Statutory Annual accounts
• Support in Process Improvements, Internal and External Audit, and Ad Hoc Projects.

Qualifications And Experience

• Degree in economics, or business administration, MBA will be valued.
• A minimum of 5 years prior experience in consolidation or audit in international companies
• Solid understanding of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Previous experience with Oracle FCCS or other consolidation tools (HFM, Onestream, SAP BPC) is a plus.
• Previous experience with ERP systems (Workday would be desirable) is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong systems and technical/computer skills
• Proven experience in simplifying and streamlining processes
