Job summary

The Social Hub is seeking a community, events and membership intern to join our Membership team in Barcelona. This in-person internship runs for 6–7 months, starting December 1, 2026, and offers a hands-on opportunity to work with global stakeholders and support internal projects.

You will assist the Regional Programming Manager, coordinate with on-site Event & Community Managers, track deadlines, prepare monthly reports, and help grow our ambassador programme and events strategy.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a university student during the entire internship period.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Legally permitted to work and live in Barcelona and available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week).
• Can work from our Barcelona-based Support Hub; the role is in person.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and a profound understanding of event management processes.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and eagerness to develop project management skills.
• True passion for hospitality and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Be first point of contact for questions and event organisation requests.
• Attend community events and activations in Southern Europe and provide bi-monthly insights to the Regional Programming Manager.
• Assist with the curation of events strategy and ambassador programme.
• Support the Membership team by tracking deadlines, taking notes, and preparing monthly event reports.
• Research market offerings and competitor propositions.
• Assist with development and refinement of a wide variety of projects related to events and membership.

We’re looking for a community, events, and membership intern to aid us in the Membership team. This role offers a grand opportunity to develop yourself, working with a wide range of global stakeholders, both internally and externally. You will help us streamline and support internal projects, keep a structured workflow and support the Regional Programming Manager. On a daily basis, you will work closely from The Support Hub to aid the Connectors (Event & Community Managers) of our hubs.

You will join the team at our office in Barcelona for a period of 6-7 months, starting December 1st,2026.

WhatYou’llHave:

• You are enrolled in University as a student during the entire period

• You are fluent in English & Spanish (written, and spoken)

• You are legally permitted to work and live in Barcelona and available for a full-time internship and can work 40 hours/week

• You can work from our Barcelona based Support Hub, the role is In Person.

• You have proven experience with Microsoft Suite andprofoundunderstanding of event management processes

• You haveastrong entrepreneurial spirit andeagerness to developyourselfin project management in an operational environment

• You have true passion for hospitality,high problem-solving capabilities and enjoy working independently
