Canyon seeks an IT System Engineer - Cloud to design, deploy and evolve our global cloud infra, focusing on Azure and GCP with IaC automation and strong security. The role is based in our Canyon Tech Hub Barcelona, with onsite presence at least three days per week.

You will shape cloud architectures, drive migrations, optimize costs, and advise internal teams while maintaining high availability. English fluency is essential and continuous improvement is valued.

Formación

• Degree in Informatics or related IT field, or IT apprenticeship.
• Extensive experience administering Microsoft Azure; GCP is a plus.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Experience with container orchestration (AKS/GKE) and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Certifications (Azure Solutions Architect/Azure Administrator or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer) preferred.
• Very good English skills (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Architect, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure across multiple clouds.
• Automate deployments with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Integrate cloud services with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD and network.
• Advise internal teams on scalable, cost-efficient cloud-native solutions.
• Own cloud governance, subscriptions, resource groups, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot multi-cloud environments to ensure high availability.
• Develop landing zones and standardize cloud resources.
• Implement cloud security standards (Zero Trust, Defender for Cloud) with IT security.
• Manage hybrid connectivity via VPN or ExpressRoute/Interconnect.
• Support strategic migration projects moving legacy workloads to cloud.
